Easy-to-Use SkyGuard Interface

Send text messages to Garmin units using SkyGuard’s easy to use web site. Drivers can easily reply, letting you know their status. Also use variety of reports, alerts, and map views to keep in the know and in control of your fleet. Also, via the website, dispatchers create optimized routes for the drivers to ensure the least amount of miles driven for each customer stop.

Preload Addresses

All stops or addresses on a driver’s route can be loaded into the Garmin device, in advance, wirelessly from SkyGuard’s web site. With just a few taps, the driver can let the dispatcher know the status of the job.

Route Optimization

From the website, the dispatcher can schedule the stops in a preferred order or they can select to have the routes arranged in an optimized order. Once they’ve selected that option, the order of the route is modified so that the fewest miles are accumulated.

Clear Turn-by-Turn Directions

Garmin devices, powered by SkyGuard, provide drivers with accurate turn by turn directions, creating the shortest, most productive routes. The driver simply selects one of the preloaded addresses or stops and lets Garmin do the rest!

In-Vehicle Messaging

Dispatchers send text messages to the Garmin unit in the vehicle using the SkyGuard website. Quick text replies lets the driver respond letting the dispatcher know when they’re on their way and when they’ve completed their work. Get through the entire day without ever picking up the phone! And the added bonus of enhanced communication results in a lower rate of personal use.

Policy Compliant Messaging

Garmin devices, powered by SkyGuard, provide you with an ability to communicate with the dispatchers when use of cell phones is prohibited. The dash mounted device displays text messages and allows the driver to send pre-set messages and responses with minimal effort.
